Efficiency, it’s the name of the game

As the need for high efficiency LED light sources rises, so is the demand to meet it. As former schemes encountered have failed to rise to the challenge, this new powder-powered lighting innovation has successively risen to show your products in the best possible light. By absorbing high-energy blue light and converting it into other colors of light, luminous efficiency is assured. High efficiency, with relatively the same size, without substantial higher costs.

Its all about energy. Energy efficiency. The Europe-led demand for highly luminous high efficiency Light Emitting Diode (LED) solutions had spread elsewhere. Today, the demand is everywhere, and is expected to rise. But the market demands the all-new standards in the same old good size. As a result, our leading lighting solutions perfectionist, REFOND Optoelectronics, had signed with Current Chemical Corporation for a Potassium fluorosilicate, or KSF (PFS), phosphor application patent authorization agreement. As one of the few packaging companies internationally authorized to use KSF phosphor, REFOND’s phosphor-based lighting solutions will surely be the next hit in LED-based illumination. Absorbing high-energy blue light and converting it into other colors of light, the KSF phosphor can be revered as a centerpiece for functional size-preserving luminous efficiency.

This recommendable lighting efficiency-led advancement is the result of the former tech total conceptional collapse. The existing fluorescent system, traditionally Yttrium-based (YAG+nitride) scheme, has encountered bottlenecks in brightness enhancement, while the combination with large-sized chips has led to a significant increase in product costs. Thus, a more approachable and tidier solutions were in need. With its narrow emission bandwidth, good thermal stability, and significant improvement in LED efficiency, KSF phosphor effectively enhances the Color Rendering Index (CRI) of LED lighting.

The manifestation of sulfurization resistance technology and airtight design intertwined, the phosphor scheme allows high brightness, as it’s minimum levels stand at CRI80, while still providing highly reliable constant light under harsh environs. With over 36,000 hours of operation maintaining over 90% of the original luminous flux, these phosphor-based illumination maintains a splendid level of  CRI90.
